Filing an Illinois Workers’ Compensation Claim for Arm, Shoulder, or Neck Injury
Many times employers will deny workers’ compensation claims for arm, shoulder, and neck injuries, claiming the injury didn’t happen on the job, that it was a pre-existing condition, or that the worker didn’t give notice of the injury.
Under Illinois state law, you have forty-five days to notify your employer of your injury. If you had a pre-existing arm, shoulder or neck injury, you can still receive workers’ compensation if the injury was aggravated by your work activities.
When you contact Orzoff Law Offices, you will receive a free initial consultation to answer your questions and focus on your goals. Call 847-564-0285 or send us an email using our quick contact form.
